The Secondary Clarifier promotes the removal of suspended solids through the sedimentation of solid particles, due to the difference in density.
It removes sludge after the aeration tank, clarifies the effluent and promotes recirculation for the biological process.
To obtain greater equipment efficiency, a Scraping Bridge is installed inside. Scraper that carries out the dragging of the regimented particles at the bottom of the clarifier, directing them to the central discharge duct, where they will be removed by pumping.
The Scraper arms, weirs and the feed deflector are of stainless steel.
The catwalk structure, floor and guardrail of the Scraping Bridge can be manufactured stainless steel or carbon steel with galvanization or painting.
