The Tertiary Treatment System can be applied in two ways:

Polishing: The effluent is channelled to a series of stabilization ponds to remove loads that have not been removed in the previous treatment processes. After final polishing, the effluent reaches the quality required according to release standards.

Reuse: The effluent goes through the physical and chemical process of Flotation to remove remaining loads and subsequent filter of sand, carbon and chlorination to remove pathogenic organisms.

Advantages of the process

Possibility of using reuse water to irrigate gardens, wash floors and toilets

Compliance with potability standards for reuse
